Eight airbags, including driver and front outboard passenger Advanced Airbag System, driver and front outboard passenger seat-mounted side airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, and front and rear Roll-sensing Side Curtain Airbags, keep everyone in your Toyota truck safe and secure.

Also common to both the Tundra and Tacoma are child-protector rear door locks and Toyota's LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren), which includes lower anchors on outboard rear seats and tether anchor on rear center seat. But every Toyota Tundra and Toyota Tacoma comes with safety features and options unique to the model, so that your road and off-road experiences can be exactly as you design them to be.

The Tundra has a Tire Pressure Monitor System, Trailer-Sway Control, an Integrated Trailer Brake Controller with Multi-Information Display monitoring screen and trailer brake type, and gain and manual trailer brake output controls on the V8. The SR5 and Limited editions give you the options of front and rear parking assist sonar, and Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and color-keyed rear bumper. Each edition comes with anti-theft systems, giving you standard or optional features like an engine immobilizer, alarm, and Glass Breakage Sensor.

The Tacoma SR5 has a Tire Pressure Monitor System while the TRD Off-Road and Limited editions add an individual tire location alert. The rear parking assist sonar and Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert comes standard on the Limited edition and as an option in the TRD Off-Road. Finally, you'll find a Class-IV towing hitch receiver, ATF cooler (on automatic transmission), engine oil cooler, power steering cooler, 130-amp alternator, 4- and 7-pin connector with converter, and Trailer-Sway Control (on the V6).
